Police were called to Welbeck Road at around 2pm on May 23 after reports of a stabbing.
A 31-year-old man was found suffering from stab wounds and was taken to hospital for treatment.
His condition was previously assessed as life-threatening, but police have provided an update to announce his condition is now non life-threatening.
No arrests have been made at this stage and the investigation continues.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at approximately 14:03hrs on Tuesday, 23 May to reports of a stabbing in Welbeck Road, Sutton.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a 31-year-old man suffering stab wound injuries.
“He was taken to hospital for treatment.
“His condition has been assessed has been updated to be non-life threatening.
“At this early stage no arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
