At 4.16pm yesterday (Tuesday, June 13), police were called to a man who was injured at the junction of Melfort Road and Sandfield Road.
The man, 20, had been stabbed.
Police performed CPR and called for support from London Ambulance Service at 4.20pm.
Paramedics treated the man at the scene before taking him to “a major trauma centre as a priority”.
London Ambulance Service sent two ambulance crews, one medic in a fast-response car, and members of our Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) to the scene.
The man died in hospital in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday, June 14).
His next of kin have been informed and formal identification will take place.
A post-mortem examination will be scheduled.
There have been no arrests so far and enquiries are ongoing.

“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including two ambulance crews, one medic in a fast-response car, and members of our Hazardous Area Response Team (HART).
“We treated a man at the scene, before taking him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
