Police spotted the stolen vehicle whilst on patrol in the area.
When officers attempted to pull over the vehicle, the driver of the stolen car allegedly attempted to flee the scene.
Officers soon found the stolen car which had crashed into a tree.
Police on cycle patrol chased the driver before detaining and arresting him.
When searching the stolen vehicle, a substantial quantity of Class A and Class B drugs was allegedly found.
