Chelsea midfielder Cesare Casadei picked up the Player of the Tournament and Golden Boot award in the U20 World Cup.

Casadei, 20, scored seven goals – the most of any player in the competition – as Italy lost 1-0 in the final to Uruguay.

Italy knocked out England, Columbia and South Korea en route to the final.

The midfielder joined the Blues from Inter Milan last summer, penning a six-year deal at Stamford Bridge.

Casadei spent the second half of last season on loan at Reading, making 15 appearances and scoring his first goal in senior football in the 2-1 defeat at Blackburn.

He has also been capped by Italy at U16, 17, 18, 19 and U21 level.
