Twitter user Raza Hussain (@Raza_2013) shared a video of a speed camera located in Angel Hill in Sutton flashing, even when cars appear to be driving at slow speeds or no cars pass at all.
Faulty speed camera on Angel Hill Road in #Sutton, #London — keeps going off when vehicles are moving below speed limit & even when there are no vehicles at all! Has been malfunctioning for about a week. When is it going to be fixed, @SuttonCouncil @TfL?@myldn @suttonguardian pic.twitter.com/MbUjuALzIK

Raza said: “This speed camera has been malfunctioning for far too long and causing persistent worries to innocent, law-abiding drivers such as myself.
“I, personally, have been trying to avoid this route since I noticed the problem but that’s not always possible.”
The camera has a 30 miles per hour speed limit.
Raza told News Shopper that he had made a complaint to TFL.
We have contacted TFL for comment.
