At around 11.1am on Saturday, August 19, Darren Dixon, 43, allegedly assaulted a police officer and fled while he was being detained in the Swanscombe Street area of Swanscome.
He had been arrested as a suspect as officers were responding to reports of a woman being assaulted that morning.
He has links to Dartford and south London.
Police ask that anyone with information about where he is should urgently call 999 quoting Most Wanted and reference 19-536.
A spokesperson for Kent Police said: “Information is being sought to locate a man wanted for assault and escaping lawful custody.
“At around 11.10am on Saturday 19 August 2023, Darren Dixon assaulted a police officer and ran away while he was being detained in the Swanscombe Street area of Swanscombe.
“The 43-year-old man had been arrested after officers responded to a report that a woman had been assaulted that morning.
“He is believed to have links to the Dartford and south London areas.
“Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts should urgently call 999 quoting Most Wanted and reference 19-536.
