Located at the Birch hotel, formerly known as Selsdon Park Hotel, this 25-metre pool has recently opened to both guests staying at the venue and members.

To become a member and enjoy the facilities the lido, adults must pay a monthly fee of £150, along with a one-off joining fee of £300.

This means that for the first dip in the pool, individuals will need to shell out a minimum of £450.

For those under the age of 30, the fees are slightly reduced to £90 per month, with a joining fee of £170.

The Lido is hidden away in the 200-acre estate, where guests can “enjoy breathtaking views of rolling hills and lush green spaces”.

Open from 9am until sunset, the lido offers a variety of poolside events, ranging from pool parties to waterside wellness activities.

The pool was created in collaboration with design studio Sella Concept.

The lido’s layout and colour palette draw inspiration from the golden age of outdoor swimming pools in the 1920s and 1930s.

The new lido has makes space of the old outdoor pool, which was been reused and restored to create the new space.

There is even art deco DJ deck and a food and beverage area and the lido itself is cocooned by semi-circular seating, situated around cosyfire pits to provide warmth and ambiance in any season.

There is also a grab-and-go service with a range of delicious options, such as sandwiches, salads, and snacks if you get hungry after your luxury swim.

Lido opening hours Sunday – Thursday: 9am – 7pm (daylight and weather dependent) Friday – Saturday: 9am – 9pm (daylight and weather dependent) Children are welcome to use the lido between 10am – close, Sunday – Wednesday and between 10am – 3pm on Thursday – Saturday.
